People in your community have big ideas – initiatives they want to start, services they’d like to see, businesses that could benefit the region. They’re just not sure where to start. If folks in your region want to work as a group to move a community project forward, creating a co-operative could be the best way for them to do it. Co-ops enable their members to share resources, participate in decision-making, and create a more stable economic environment. By coming together, they can build a sustainable business or organization that benefits everyone involved.
Join Co-operatives First for an intensive workshop about what a co-op is, how creating a co-op could help people meet their needs and goals, and how you can help them get one started. Our team members will provide engaging information, hands-on activities, and supportive feedback. You’ll have the chance to connect with like-minded individuals, learn from experienced facilitators, and discover the opportunities a co-op can create.
