Regional Synergies: The Economic Partnership Summit

For over a decade, the Annual Economic Partnership Summit in Lloydminster has brought together businesses, leaders, and Indigenous people primarily in Treaty 6 territory to build partnerships, provide education, and grow businesses. Organized by a dedicated committee in the heart of Treaty Six, this innovative summit was established to develop Indigenous partnerships with industry opportunities — before it was called for in the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action. In this webinar, Milton Tootoosis, Chief Economic Reconciliation Officer of SREDA and Chair of the Saskatchewan Indigenous Economic Development Network, and Teri-Lynn MacKie, Executive Director of Lloydminster Chamber of Commerce discussed the Economic Partnership Summit’s history, lessons learned, and growth, and gave a preview of the event.
