Your Way Together Contest Rules

Beginning May 1st, 2023 tell us how your community comes together for a chance to win a $100 Co-op gift card!

To enter, join the Your Way, Together Facebook group and make a post there showing us how your community comes together. This could be a photo, a video, or a story about anything people in your community work together to accomplish or celebrate. Is there a big annual event? A club that meets up to do cool things? A volunteer initiative that makes the community better? We want to hear about it.

Make as many posts as you want — each one counts as an entry!

THE YOUR WAY,TOGETHER COMPETITION (“COMPETITION”) IS SPONSORED BY CO-OPERATIVES FIRST (“SPONSOR”). COMPETITION BEGINS ON MAY 1, 2023 AT 9 AM MT AND ENDS ON MAY 31, 2023 AT 12 AM CST. (“COMPETITION PERIOD”). NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. Only a post on the Your Way Together Facebook page is required for entry.  By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and Administrator. Void where prohibited by law.

The Competition is open to legal residents of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia who have reached the age of majority in their respective province of residence at the time of entry. Employees or contractors of the Sponsor(s) and immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with any such employees or contractors, are not eligible to enter. The value of the prize is one $100 Co-op gift card. Prizes must be accepted as awarded.  Prizes may not be sold, converted to cash, are non-transferable, and no substitutions are permitted. The Sponsor reserves the right, in the event that a prize or any component of a prize cannot be awarded as described for any reason, to substitute another prize of equal or greater value without liability. The chances of being selected are dependent upon the total number of eligible entries received during the Competition Period. One (1) winner will be chosen at random. The odds of winning will depend on the number of entries received and adherence to competition criteria. An announcement will be made on June 1, 2023, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan from among all eligible entries received on or before the Competition Closing Date.  Selected entrants will be contacted by telephone within seven days of the winner announcement date.  If a selected entrant cannot be contacted within seven days of the draw date his/her entry will be disqualified and another entrant will be selected.  To be declared a prize winner (the “Prize Winner”), the selected entrant must consent to the use of their name, address (city and province) and photograph without compensation, in any future publicity carried out by the Sponsor. By entering the Competition, entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor with respect to all aspects of the Competition, which are final.  This Competition is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws.  To request a copy of these Official Rules, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Your Way Together contest, 4 – 1810 8th Street East, Saskatoon SK, S7H 0T6. By entering this Competition, entrants consent to the use of their name and address (city and province) by the Sponsor for the purposes stated herein. The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant in the event of fraudulent Competition entry or other violation of these Official Rules.  Submissions are subject to verification and void if obtained illegitimately, or if altered, mutilated, forged, tampered with or irregular in any way. Subject to applicable law, the Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion and for any reason, to cancel, terminate, modify these Official Rules or administration of the Competition or suspend this Competition in whole or in part without prior notice and with no obligation or liability.  In the Sponsor’s sole discretion, a Prize Winner may be selected by random drawing from among all valid entries received up to the time of cancellation, termination, or suspension. By participating in the Competition, entrants agree to release and indemnify the Sponsor and any independent judging organization as well as their respective parents, affiliates, members, agents and contractors, including advertising and promotional agencies, and their directors, officers and employees, from any and all losses, expenses (including legal fees), damages and claims of any kind in connection with the Competition or resulting from the acceptance, possession or use of any prize, including without limitation any loss, personal injury, death, property damage, or claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy. Under no circumstances will the Sponsor, its member’s retail co-operatives, subsidiaries, affiliates, independent contractors, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents, including advertising and promotional agencies, be responsible for any injuries, loss or damages of any kind (compensatory, direct, incidental, indirect, consequential or otherwise) with respect to or in any way arising from, this Competition or the prize awarded.  In no event shall the Sponsor be required to award more prizes than what is indicated in these Official Rules or award the prizes otherwise than in accordance with these Official Rules. Images included in the giveaway post may not depict the exact prize and are for illustrative purposes only. Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter and/or Google+ are in no way associated with this giveaway. Residents of Canada are required to enter a skill-testing question to claim their prize. Sponsors reserve the right to publish the winner’s first name and last initial. The Sponsor respects your right to privacy. Personal information collected is not sold, rented or loaned to any third parties. The Sponsor will use the information collected solely to administer the Competition.  No correspondence will be entered into except with selected entrants. By completing and submitting a Competition entry form you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information for the purposes stated herein.
